These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Sovrè website (sovrè.com), your purchase of artwork from Leyla Zeinalpour, and your participation in Sovrè's private membership program. Sovrè is operated by Leyla Zeinalpour, doing business as Sovrè, in San Antonio, Texas ("Sovrè," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting this website, submitting an enquiry, purchasing a work, or joining a membership tier, you agree to these Terms.
Every piece offered through Sovrè is a unique work created entirely by hand by Leyla Zeinalpour in color pencil, charcoal, and paint. Sovrè does not sell prints, reproductions, or editioned works unless explicitly described as such. Because each work is one of a kind, availability is limited and subject to change without notice.
Every work sold by Sovrè is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Sovrè warrants that each work is hand-created by Leyla Zeinalpour. Should a work purchased directly from Sovrè ever be conclusively demonstrated not to be authentic, Sovrè will, as its sole remedy, rescind the sale and refund the original purchase price, provided the claim is made in writing within a reasonable time of discovery and the work is returned in the condition in which it was delivered.
Prices for each work are provided upon private enquiry and are subject to change without notice until a sale is confirmed in writing. Works are made available on a first-confirmed, first-served basis, except where Founding Membership or Private Client membership grants a documented right of first refusal or early access window as described in Section 7.
Full payment (or an agreed deposit, for commissioned work) is required before a work is reserved, prepared for shipment, or handed over at a private viewing. Sovrè accepts payment by the methods made available at the time of purchase. Title to a work and risk of loss pass to the buyer only upon receipt of payment in full and delivery or collection of the work.
Each work is fragile and irreplaceable. Sovrè arranges professional, insured shipping or in-person delivery for every completed sale, at a cost quoted separately based on destination and handling requirements. Buyers are asked to inspect a work promptly upon receipt and to notify us in writing within 48 hours of any damage sustained in transit.
All sales are final. Because each work is unique and often reserved specifically for a single collector, Sovrè does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for any reason, including change of mind. This policy is disclosed before payment on every purchase path. The only exceptions are: (a) a work conclusively demonstrated not to be authentic (Section 2), for which rescission of the sale is the sole remedy; and (b) a work that arrives materially damaged in transit and is reported in writing within the 48-hour window described in Section 5. Commission deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, except where Sovrè is unable to complete the commission.
Sovrè offers two annual membership tiers: Founding Membership ($500/year) and Private Client ($2,500/year, limited to twelve active members, including up to five private meetings with the artist annually). Membership benefits, including early access windows, first right of refusal, and private meetings with the artist, are described on the Practice page and are personal to the member — they may not be transferred, resold, or shared.
Private meetings with the artist are available to any client for $500 per meeting, and are included at no additional cost for Private Client members. Commissioned work is considered on a limited basis each year; any timeline provided for a commission is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, given the handmade and unhurried nature of the work.
All artwork, photography, and written content on this website are the property of Leyla Zeinalpour and Sovrè, and are protected by copyright. Purchasing a physical work does not transfer any reproduction, display, or commercial rights in the image of that work. Images of artwork on this site, including those bearing the Sovrè watermark, may not be copied, reproduced, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose without prior written permission.
You agree to use sovrè.com only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to scrape, copy, or republish its content, or to interfere with its normal operation. Vera and the other AI-assisted tools on this site are provided to support your enquiry and do not constitute a binding offer or appraisal until confirmed in writing by Sovrè.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sovrè's liability arising from any purchase or use of this website is limited to the amount paid for the work or service in question. Sovrè is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
Sovrè may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practice or applicable law. The version posted on this page is the version in effect; continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
